Prominent Christian activist, author, and founder of Potter Street Community in inner city Philadelphia, Shane Claiborne will be in Charlotte Sunday October 4. Potter Street, formely known as The Simple Way has helped birth and connect radical faith communities around the world, including our House. Shane authored or co-authored The Irresistible Revolution, Iraq Journal 2003, Jesus for President, and Becoming the Answer to Our Prayers. Claiborne is best known for his radical Christian pacifism, modeled by Christian ethicists John Howard Yoder and Stanley Hauerwas. More details about the actual time of the event will come soon.
